Get your hands messy in a fun two part ceramic tile making class.
The tile making class will teach you how to shape, cut, and design
your own clay tiles. You will learn hand-building or pressing
techniques, use glazes for color. It is a fun, hands-on craft that
lets you create custom art for your home. An experienced potter will
teach you about pottery, help you design and cut the edges and then
bake the final design so that you have a lasting piece for your home
or a gift

Day 1:
1) Introduction where I talk about my experience and
some history of pottery.
2) I will explain the process of making the tiles.
3) Distribute the clay and tools.
4) Make and design the tiles.
5) Clean up and give a list of available colors individuals
want to use for the next session 6) Pack up the finished tiles. End
the class.

Tiles need to dry for 2 weeks. They also need to be kept flat
while drying with a flat cover i.e. piece of wood or plastic. When
they are dry he will bisque fire them. This takes 2 days

Day 2:
1) A short talk about the glazing process.
2) Let them glaze their own tiles.
3) Clean up. End class.
