I am a kintsugi restorer based in Ballingeary, Co. Cork, repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold. Originally from Kanazawa, Japan, a city with a rich tradition of ceramics and gold lacquerware, I have always been drawn to the everyday objects that quietly become part of our lives.

Inspired by the Irish proverb An té a bhíonn siúlach, bíonn scéalach ("Those who travel have stories to tell"), I believe the same is true of the objects that accompany us through life. Every crack is part of their journey, and every repair allows that story to continue. Through my work, I hope to help people reconnect with the objects they love and discover the quiet beauty of repair.
