About
Dr Hélène Gitchenko is an innovation strategist, researcher, and creative facilitator working at the intersection of people, organisations, and social transformation. With a PhD in Complex Systems Engineering and a multidisciplinary background in psychology, ergonomics, knowledge management, design and innovation management, she supports organisations, entrepreneurs, associations, and communities in designing meaningful, human-centred change.
Her work combines research, creativity, and systems thinking to develop collaborative approaches that strengthen learning, innovation, and social impact. She is particularly interested in how organisations can cultivate cultures that nurture creativity, collective intelligence, wellbeing, and sustainable futures.
Beyond her professional work, Hélène is deeply inspired by nature restoration, traditional crafts, and community-based cultural practices. She believes that reconnecting with living ecosystems, making with our hands, and sharing music, dance, and singing are powerful ways to strengthen human relationships and regenerate both communities and the natural world. These passions inform her approach to facilitation and her vision of innovation as a process of care, connection, and regeneration.
